We are a new business created out of a desire to break away from a 30year career as a nurse, with much of my time in the NHS. Having recently had a big birthday I decided to try something new...
I’ve always yearned to run a cafe, or a shop, and enjoyed baking so started to bake for family and colleagues and turns out I’m quite good at it! I achieved my 5 star food hygiene rating for my home kitchen from Monmouthshire county council and then I was away!
Big Bean Café at Wyedean Comprehensive School
November 6th 2023, BlueBusBakes at the Big Bean Cafe was opened for business.
We’d made some changes but the cafe had initially 7yrs before been started by the young people in the school and had recently been decorated by them, so I didn’t want to change too much out of respect for the time they had invested.
